You will need to purchase the Wolf Book for achievements and electives.

If you are new to scouting, you will also need to visit the Scouting Store to

purchase a uniform shirt, a yellow neckerchief, a Wolf neckerchief slide, a

purple fleur de lis patch, the numbers 16, and the Old North State Council

patch.  Cub Scout hats, shorts and socks are optional, but the Wolf will need

to wear navy shorts when wearing his Class A uniform.  A scouting belt is

suggested to hold the belt loops that the scout will earn.

Many scouts also purchase the red achievement vests.  These are used to

display the extra patches and awards received throughout the year, that do

not go on the uniform.  These vests are easily made and do not have to be

purchased through the Scout Store.
